Twin Tunnels Tour

 9:30am - 12:30pm
Tour meets @ Doug's Hood River  101 Oak St. Hood River, OR.
7 days a week

As we begin pedaling away from Hood River, the propulsion of an eBike instantly creates a satisfying exhilaration of minimal effort and maximum fun.

Let us ride together along the Historic Highway (no vehicles), stopping along the way to admire the scenic vistas and 'Gorge' history. Depending on wind, weather and season, we choose from U-pick orchards, small hike to a waterfall and/or the wild flowers of the McCall preserve.

We ride at a moderate pace as the tour guide shares with you the local history and geological wonder. Half of this tour stays in the shade during summer and is on a bike path (Historic Highway) with no vehicles offering a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

Rolling into the heart of the Columbia River Gorge where the wilderness collides with the wondrous natures of man. This is a great tour to be in the shade on hot summer days, great for families that would like to do less miles on bike, and be on a bike path with no vehicles 90% of the trip. Also to investigate the fire scar of September 2017 'Eagle Creek Fire'.

Hood River Valley Tour

 1:30pm - 5pm
Tour meets @ The Gorge White House  2265 Highway 35

5 days a week

We will meet at The Gorge White House, 2265 Highway 35, just 2 miles south of downtown Hood River, OR.

Our pedal starts with magnificent views of Mount Hood and will continue to captivate and impress. Sharing the history of the valley and gazing through the orchards as we pedal along quiet country roads making our approach to the Hood River Lavender Farm. Resting or 'picking' ($5 mini bushel) in the scented aroma of over 75 varieties of Lavender, we leave smelling fresh and invigorated. Making our way around the mid-valley of Hood River and continuing along part of the 'fruit loop', we set our sights
on the wide open space that surrounds us. More than once we have heard "this place feels Tuscany".

When we arrive back at The Gorge White House, in the early evening, the farm will be resting and so will you as there is house made wine and/or cider tasting which is included with the tour. For those under 21 we have non alcoholic beverages.

We cover a good amount of ground at a moderate pace and the eBikes make the effort minimal. #whathills

This tour pedals along quiet country roads, you must be comfortable in that situation.
